I was just told the best time to plant grass seed in my area of Houston Texas is in late Autumn or early Spring.  I bought a 50 pound bag of Bermuda Common grass seed and just spread it on my lawn and watered the heck out of it for the first two weeks…and I am already seeing some new sprouts showing up.

Just wanted to give my 2 cents.
